Cherry Island Lighthouse can be seen from the northbound lane of Interstate 495 just north of Exit 2. This is a very busy bridge and not a safe place to stop. Take Exit 2 off Interstate 495 at Wilmington Delaware Go east on Terminal Road The terminal is closed to the public Just before entering the terminal, take the road on the left The lighthouse can be seen to the right along this road shortly after turning onto it.
